This week at Child's World School Encino, our campers traded screens for sunshine and spent their days Discovering Nature, with every age group exploring the outdoors in their own way.
Our infants and toddlers started the week with a nature walk right outside our doors, then dug into a Tuesday music session with Teacher Paulie. Wednesday brought a hands on Nature Soup sensory table, and Thursday's cooking project turned nature into a snack with frozen ice cubes filled with real leaves and flowers. The week wrapped up with a Foam Party to cool everyone down.
Our twos and threes got creative with nature pinch pots on Monday, joined Teacher Paulie for music on Tuesday, and painted their own seashells on Wednesday. Thursday's cooking project, Bloomin Dirt Cups, brought a garden right into the classroom, and the week ended with the same Foam Party fun.
Our Big Kid Campers kicked things off with pressed flower bookmarks, then headed to music with Teacher Paulie. Wednesday's cooking project turned into fresh fruit smoothies, and Thursday took our campers off campus for a field trip to Chuck E Cheese. Like their younger friends, the week closed out with a Foam Party.
From nature walks to fruit smoothies, our campers had a full week of discovery, and we cannot wait to see what next week brings.
