Graduation season brings a lot of feelings. Pride, excitement, maybe a few happy tears. But for families at Child's World Woodland Hills, it also brings something else: a deep sense of confidence that their child is truly ready for what comes next.
That readiness is the result of years of intentional, joyful learning that begins the very first morning a child walks through our doors.
A Foundation Built Early
One of the things that makes Child's World Woodland Hills special is that we begin with infants. Families who started their journey with us in our infant or toddler program have watched their child grow through every stage of our curriculum, building skills, relationships, and confidence along the way. That continuity matters. Children who feel safe and known in their environment are children who take risks, ask questions, and love to learn.
Play and Academics, Together
Our hybrid approach puts play and structured learning side by side, because we believe they belong together. Our children learn letters and numbers through games, songs, and hands-on projects. They practice handwriting, explore science concepts, and build social skills all within the same warm, busy day. By the time our Pre-K and TK/K graduates walk across the stage, they have a genuine foundation in early literacy and numeracy, and they know how to work alongside their peers with kindness and confidence.
The Whole Child
Academic preparation is only part of the picture. Our teachers know each child by name, by personality, by the things that make them light up. Over the years, our children have learned to navigate friendships, manage big feelings, and find joy in the process of trying something new. Those are the skills that carry a child not just into kindergarten, but through a lifetime of learning.
A Community That Celebrates Together
On Friday, June 5, our Woodland Hills campus will gather to celebrate our graduates at our annual Pre-K and TK/K Graduation. The theme is the 90s. There will be diplomas, songs, dancing, and the kind of joy that only comes from watching a child step into their next great chapter.
If you are a family who has been with us since the beginning, thank you for trusting us with your child's earliest years. If you are just starting to explore Child's World Woodland Hills, we would love to show you what this community looks like from the inside. Reach out to schedule a visit.
