Grandparents Day at Child’s World School Woodland Hills

Last month, our playground transformed into a space filled with joy, stories, and family connection. Grandparents joined their grandchildren for a day designed to celebrate the bonds that make our school community special.

Bright balloons and colorful tables set the stage for a morning of fun. The day began with playground games that had children and grandparents laughing side by side. Cheeks turned rosy, and smiles stretched wide as generations shared in play.

One of the most treasured moments came during our craft activity. Grandparents and grandchildren created keepsakes together, painting and building side by side. Each piece was a reflection of love and creativity that will be remembered long after the day.

Our storytime circles gave grandparents the chance to share personal tales, family memories, and favorite stories. Children listened with wide eyes and happy hearts, connecting through every word.

Between activities, families enjoyed cookies, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and lemonade. The treats fueled lively conversation and time together.

The celebration closed with a group photo session, capturing hugs, laughter, and lasting memories. Each picture told the story of connection and joy that filled the day.
