Five Reasons Summer Camp at Child's World Woodland Hills Is More Than Just a Fun Summer

A young child wearing a swim shirt and cap practices swimming in a clear outdoor pool while being supported by an instructor. Sunlight sparkles across the water’s surface, and a lifeguard station with a red umbrella is visible poolside in the background. Trees and a dark privacy fence surround the pool, creating a bright, summery setting.

Summer break means different things to different families. For some, it is a chance to slow down. For others, it is a logistical puzzle. At Child's World Woodland Hills, our Summer Camp is designed to take care of both: giving children an exciting, enriching summer while giving families reliable, trusted care from a school they already know.

1. The Themes Make Every Week Feel New

One of the things children love most about Summer Camp is that each week brings a new adventure. Themed weeks keep the energy fresh and give our teachers creative ways to tie in activities, art, and learning. Children look forward to coming in, because they never quite know what the week has in store.

2. Water Play and Swimming Are Built Into the Day

Our Woodland Hills campus has a pool on site, a water slide, a certified lifeguard, and a swim instructor ready for the summer. Water play is a highlight of every camp week, and private swim lessons are available for families who want their children to build real swim skills over the summer. There is no better place to spend a warm California day.

3. Field Trips Bring Learning Outside the Classroom

Summer is the perfect time to explore, and our campers get to do exactly that. Field trips throughout the summer take children beyond the campus and into new experiences that spark curiosity, spark conversation, and spark joy.

4. Your Child Is Known and Cared For

Summer Camp at Child's World Woodland Hills is not a different place with different people. It is the same warm community, the same teachers, and the same commitment to knowing every child by name and caring about every child's day. For families who already attend our school year program, that continuity is a gift. For new families, it is a wonderful introduction to our community.

5. It Is Open to the Community

Summer Camp at our Woodland Hills campus is open to the community, with part-time and full-time options available. Families sign up for the full program. Space is limited, so if you are interested in a summer full of fun, swimming, and real care, we encourage you to reach out soon.

Summer Camp starts Monday, June 15. Reach out to our Woodland Hills campus to register or ask questions.
