Chinese New Year gives our children time to explore traditions through music, stories, and playful activities. On Tuesday, February 17, classes at Child's World School Encino will join in a day filled with color, movement, and hands-on projects.
Each class will create a prop that reflects the holiday. Children will carry these props during a cheerful parade around the preschool playground. This activity gives every child a chance to enjoy the moment with friends and teachers.
Children may come dressed in traditional Chinese clothing. This is optional and helps set a festive tone for those who choose to participate.
Throughout the day, our teaching team will read stories and play music connected to the celebration. Chicken fried rice will be served as a snack to add to the sensory experience.
We look forward to a day filled with creativity and joyful moments.
