The 100th Day of School is an exciting day at Child's World School Encino. The children have been counting the number of days they have been in school and it's been 100 DAYS!!!
On February 5, children of all ages are invited to come dressed as elderly versions of themselves. Costumes can include items such as glasses, sweaters, or simple accessories. The focus is on having fun and connecting with this milestone while practicing to count up to 100!.
During the day, teachers will read stories that explore aging in a gentle, age-appropriate way. These stories encourage conversations about growth, caring for others, and reaching meaningful life moments. The children will also participate in a schoolwide parade and enjoy cheering for their friends.
This milestone supports confidence and strengthens our sense of community. It brings our classrooms together around a warm and memorable day.
