At Child’s World School Encino, we believe kindness is something children learn best by practicing together. Kindness Week gave our students a joyful opportunity to connect, share, and grow as friends.
The week began with book sharing, where children introduced classmates to their favorite stories. The thoughtfulness they showed while listening to one another reflected the heart of kindness in action.
Midweek, our teaching team led a hands-on kindness activity that encouraged small, meaningful gestures of friendship. Students embraced the theme “Friends are Kind” with enthusiasm and care.
Today, our classrooms buzzed with excitement during the Friendship Salad project. Each child contributed an ingredient, blending everything into one colorful dish to enjoy together. This activity was a clear reminder that friendship thrives when everyone adds something special.
Families may notice their children inspired to share more kindness at home after these experiences.
We are grateful to our families for supporting Kindness Week and helping our students carry kindness beyond the classroom. Together, we are building a school culture where kindness is celebrated every day.
