Last week, our students at Child’s World School Encino enjoyed a morning of outdoor discovery during Outdoor Exploration Day. Each class set out on a nature walk around campus, collecting leaves, twigs, and other treasures to inspire their fall-themed art projects.
They shared their finds with teachers and friends, pointing out colorful leaves, smooth rocks, and tiny signs of the changing season. Back in the classroom, these discoveries will become part of creative art activities that connect outdoor experiences with hands-on learning.
We love giving children opportunities to explore, ask questions, and find joy in nature. Outdoor Exploration Day reminded us that learning happens everywhere when children are curious and engaged.
Thank you to our families for helping children come ready for outdoor fun and adventure.
